[SYDNEY, NS] — The Better Business Bureau is seeking nominations for the Atlantic Business Ethics Awards.

The annual awards program promotes not only the importance of ethical business practices, but also the willingness and efforts made by outstanding businesses to ensure the Atlantic marketplace remains fair and honourable for everyone. Both Better Business Bureau-accredited and non-accredited businesses are encouraged to apply. The awards take place Nov. 7.

This year's event will highlight awards given in such categories as non-profit organizations, busineses with fewer than 15 employees, 16-50 employees, 51-100 employees and more than 100 employees. These awards are based on nominated businesses that maintain a solid commitment to ethical business practices.

Deadline for award nominations is Sept. 1. Look for the nomination form online at www.atlanticprovinces.bbb.org or email bbbmp@bbbmp.ca.
